1. Download the latest mingw-get-inst (the auto-installer) directly from http://sourceforge.net/projects/mingw/.
2. During the MinGW installation, choose both MinGW base and MSYS to install.

#### Further info for Windows users.
You can update MinGW components once you start it's console by using the command `mingw-get update`, this updates the package repository for MinGW. After which you can upgrade packages with `mingw-get upgrade`.
