TemariVirus e498550952 std.math.pow: organise and add special case tests
Added tests for special cases which were previously untested.
Updated comments to use the same language as IEEE 754-2008.

Liam Swayne f857bf72e2 Add branchHint to std.math.pow
NaN is an unlikely case, and a branchHint `.unlikely` could be appropriate.

mlugg 0fe3fd01dd std: update std.builtin.Type fields to follow naming conventions
The compiler actually doesn't need any functional changes for this: Sema
does reification based on the tag indices of `std.builtin.Type` already!
So, no zig1.wasm update is necessary.

This change is necessary to disallow name clashes between fields and
decls on a type, which is a prerequisite of #9938.

Ryan Liptak 16b3d1004e Remove redundant test name prefixes now that test names are fully qualified
Follow up to #19079, which made test names fully qualified.

This fixes tests that now-redundant information in their test names. For example here's a fully qualified test name before the changes in this commit:

"priority_queue.test.std.PriorityQueue: shrinkAndFree"

and the same test's name after the changes in this commit:

"priority_queue.test.shrinkAndFree"

antlilja bcf4a13913 Remove @fabs, fabs and absCast/Int from std lib
Replaces occurences of @fabs absCast and absInt with new @abs builtin.
Also removes the std.math.fabs alias from math.zig.

mlugg 283afb50b5 AstGen: disallow '-0' integer literal
The intent here is ambiguous: this resolves to the comptime_int '0', but
it's likely the user meant to use a floating-point literal.

Resolves: #16890

mlugg f26dda2117 all: migrate code to new cast builtin syntax
Most of this migration was performed automatically with `zig fmt`. There
were a few exceptions which I had to manually fix:

* `@alignCast` and `@addrSpaceCast` cannot be automatically rewritten
* `@truncate`'s fixup is incorrect for vectors
* Test cases are not formatted, and their error locations change

Andrew Kelley 41dd2beaac compiler-rt: math functions reorg
* unify the logic for exporting math functions from compiler-rt,
   with the appropriate suffixes and prefixes.
   - add all missing f128 and f80 exports. Functions with missing
     implementations call other functions and have TODO comments.
   - also add f16 functions
 * move math functions from freestanding libc to compiler-rt (#7265)
 * enable all the f128 and f80 code in the stage2 compiler and behavior
   tests (#11161).
 * update std lib to use builtins rather than `std.math`.

Andrew Kelley d29871977f remove redundant license headers from zig standard library
We already have a LICENSE file that covers the Zig Standard Library. We
no longer need to remind everyone that the license is MIT in every single
file.

Previously this was introduced to clarify the situation for a fork of
Zig that made Zig's LICENSE file harder to find, and replaced it with
their own license that required annual payments to their company.
However that fork now appears to be dead. So there is no need to
reinforce the copyright notice in every single file.

Andrew Kelley 5619ce2406 Merge remote-tracking branch 'origin/master' into stage2-whole-file-astgen
Conflicts:
 * doc/langref.html.in
 * lib/std/enums.zig
 * lib/std/fmt.zig
 * lib/std/hash/auto_hash.zig
 * lib/std/math.zig
 * lib/std/mem.zig
 * lib/std/meta.zig
 * test/behavior/alignof.zig
 * test/behavior/bitcast.zig
 * test/behavior/bugs/1421.zig
 * test/behavior/cast.zig
 * test/behavior/ptrcast.zig
 * test/behavior/type_info.zig
 * test/behavior/vector.zig

Master branch added `try` to a bunch of testing function calls, and some
lines also had changed how to refer to the native architecture and other
`@import("builtin")` stuff.

LemonBoy ff14451b4a std: Implement more useful approxEq semantics
Comparisons with absolute epsilons are usually useful when comparing
numbers to zero, for non-zero numbers it's advised to switch to relative
epsilons instead to obtain meaningful results (check [1] for more
details).

The new API introduces approxEqAbs and approxEqRel, where the former
aliases and deprecated the old `approxEq`, allowing the user to pick the
right tool for the job.

The documentation is meant to guide the user in the choice of the
correct alternative.
