Unknown -> Unsupported compression algorithm Both zstd and zlib are *known* compression algorithms, they just may not be supported by the backend. We shouldn't mislead users into e.g. thinking they made a typo. cc https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/issues/120953
The codegen crate contains the code to convert from MIR into LLVM IR,
and then from LLVM IR into machine code. In general it contains code
that runs towards the end of the compilation process.
